Magill Cellars
Purchased in 1988 as a distressed property after a disastrous fire, this historic champagne cellar built in 1919 by Leon Edmund Mazure was restored by Burke Urban in partnership with Dr. Jeff Wright utilising the original architectural style and materials.
Magill Cellars, previously known as Romalo Seaview, housed (through the 1990’s) Australia's leading wine industry organisations including the Winemakers Federation of Australia and the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation. It was also Burke Urban’s Adelaide office for 15 years until the property was sold to the Vater Corporation in 2004.
